2018 the year of growth!

It is Sunday the 11th of Feb and I have sat down many a time to catch up on blog posts and update our site but it hasn’t happened yet! Today we should be working in adare but the weather has forced us to reschedule. So in between family fun I am sneaking off to do a quick post! 🙂

2018 has had us hitting the ground running! It has been such a manic year so far and the word that seems to sum it up for me is “Growth”.

Growth as a business:

Tara Donoghue photography is almost at our quota for 2019 and we are already booking for 2020! Thank you so much to all of you who want to collaborate with us on your amazing day!

Growth of our skillset and experience:

We were found by a fabulous L.A Director Phillip Briggs who invited us to be still and production photographers for the movie he was shooting here in Kerry. Phillip is a master of light and to work with him was an amazing honour.

For him to say that our work was “incredible” is even more surreal! This has been a really exciting project for us feeding our creativity in a completely different way and it has already begun opening lots of exciting doors! When you are casually discussing the Oscars, Cannes film festival and Hollywood actors for the next movie it all becomes quite unbelievable and so exciting to be on board!

Growth as a family:

Dáithí arrived in 2017 but our family has well and truly settled into life as a family of four!

He has fitted into the madness that is our life and with his laid back personality, he just sits and laughs at us all which is probably the best approach! 🙂

So as I continue to plan and work on our different areas of growth, I remind myself that none of it is possible without those around us who enable us to grow.

Our clients who trust in us, those who repeatedly recommend us, the friends and family who support us.

None of it would be possible without you all, so thank you!

On that note I can smell my Sunday dinner so I am off!
