With a background in fine art, Tara Donoghue has the advantage of seeing an image as an Artist, as well, as a Photographer. This is the key skill that sets Tara apart from your average photographer and arms her with the creativity to create stunning visual images through photography.
After completing her BA in Galway, Tara decided to learn more about the different styles of Photography working in various Portrait Studios and for the Press. Now living in Kerry, Ireland many of her assignments have allowed her to travel both in Ireland and the UK shooting a wide range of styles from weddings and portrait to sports and editorial fashion.
During her time travelling on assignment Tara trained with leading Wedding Photographers in both Ireland and the U.K, and was recently awarded her Licentiate from the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP). This accreditation serves to reinforce both the standard of her work and the professional yet fun loving attitude she adopts at all times.
This attitude works particularly well in the wedding setting as she loves the challenge of working with various groups, shooting naturally, quickly and creatively under pressure! Her informal, relaxed style and professional nature allows Tara to capture key moments without interfering in the fun of the day.
